USCIS confirmed using "Dates for Filing Chart" in the Department of State Visa Bulletin for January 2024 for both family-based and employment-based adjustment of status applications.
GOOD NEWS! Priority Dates ("PD") for employment-based applications moved forward!
Specifically, for EB-1 category, PD moves forward for both China-mainland born and India born applicants from August 1, 2022 to January 1, 2023 and July 1, 2019 to January 1, 2021 respectively.
In EB-2 category, although PD for China-mainland born and India born applicants remains the same, PD for all other countries moved forward.
In EB-3 category, PD for China-mainland born applicants moved forward to July 1, 2021; whereas, the rest of other countries remain the same.
Priority Dates for family-based applications remain the same as this time. No movement.
